As official partner hotel, we accompany your concert evening at the KKL Luzern culinarily, together with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.
Sergei Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto is one of the most frequently performed piano works of the Romantic era, paired this evening with Pyotr Tchaikovsky's “Pathétique,” his last and most personal symphony. Pianist Nikolai Lugansky, winner of the 1997 Tchaikovsky Competition, performs under the direction of Michael Sanderling. The Luzerner Sinfonieorchester brings both works to the KKL Luzern.
