As official partner hotel, we accompany your concert evening at the KKL Luzern culinarily, together with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.
Richard Wagner's “Siegfried Idyll” was written in 1870 in Tribschen near Lucerne as a personal gift to Cosima Wagner, opening this evening with a Swiss connection. Violinist Vilde Frang and violist Lawrence Power perform Benjamin Britten's Double Concerto under the direction of Diego Ceretta, before Johannes Brahms's Fourth Symphony closes the evening. The Luzerner Sinfonieorchester performs the program at the KKL Luzern.
