Gourmet & Concert with «Poème de l'Extase»

As official partner hotel, we accompany your concert evening at the KKL Luzern culinarily, together with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester.

Sergei Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto is considered one of the technically most demanding works in the repertoire; the composer himself called it his “elephant concerto.” Pianist Kirill Gerstein performs it under the direction of James Gaffigan, a former chief conductor of the orchestra, alongside works by Stravinsky and Scriabin's “Poème de l'Extase.” The Luzerner Sinfonieorchester brings the program to the KKL Luzern.
