Tradition & History

Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern opened its gates in 1845 and is one of the few Swiss hotels to have an art history of national significance. This traditional establishment exudes 19th-century glamour. At the same time, its modern infrastructure and award-winning rooms offer all the modern amenities our guests could wish for.

La Capriola Foundation

La Capriola Foundation

Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern works with the La Capriola Foundation to help young people with disabilities become qualified professionals.

The apprenticeship programme enables them to integrate into the labour market both professionally and socially. It also helps them live their lives as independently as possible.During their apprenticeship, the young participants live in a residential community, where they are supported by social educators.

These professionals train the young people’s individual strengths and work on their weaknesses to prepare them for independent living.
