Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
On Friday, 22 January and Saturday, 23 January 2027, Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern opens its rooms for the third time to the pop-up wine hotel «Le Grand Hôtel du Vin». Instead of standing at trade fair stands, guests move from room to room and taste their way through the Swiss wine landscape.
In the hotel rooms, 25 winemakers from Switzerland's different wine regions pour their wines. They stand at the table themselves, talk about their estates and show how their wines differ in style, grape variety and origin.
No prior knowledge is needed to attend. Whether you are a wine expert or a beginner, whether you come alone, as a couple or with a group of friends, the conversation with the producers is the core of the event.
Admission and wine tokens
Admission includes a leaflet with all winemakers and theme rooms, your first glass of Swiss wine and a goodie bag. Additional wine tokens at CHF 6.00 are available on site. They can be redeemed in the hotel rooms and theme areas, either for four wines in tasting portions at one host or for one decilitre of a selected wine. The wine estates receive CHF 5.00 per glass refunded directly.
