The 17th SwissCityMarathon - Lucerne, an unrivalled running event in Lucerne, traditionally takes place on the last Sunday in October.
From the start, the route leads along the lakeshore past the Marathon Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne, where the marathon fair, the race number distribution and many other programme items related to the sporting event take place.
