The former apprentice returns to his roots
He is an avowed "Follower of Flavour" - he discovered his passion for the world of flavours during his time at the Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok. Foreign countries, other cultures and their exotic cuisines are his sources of inspiration for creative ideas, which are also reflected in the menu.
Born in Lucerne, he has gained a lot of experience in the luxury segment and has a passion for grand hotels. He was already fascinated by the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne as a child. "I am always almost frozen in awe," says Staub. And so it was that Tino Staub completed his cooking apprenticeship right here. After various stations such as the Bellevue Gstaad and the Gstaad Palace, he is now Executive Chef at Zurich's noble Hotel Widder.
In March, he will now temporarily return to the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne and bring along an exciting sharing menu. Get to know Tino Staub personally on Thursday, 5 March 2020. At 6.30 p.m. he will welcome you together with the Schweizerhof team in the Restaurant Galerie and take you into the diverse world of aromas.
You can enjoy the 5-course menu at CHF 145.00, the wine accompaniment at CHF 35.00 per person. Reserve one of the few seats at 041 410 0 410 and we will serve the menu and individual courses until 2 June 2020.
