Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
After its successful premiere in 2025, the Pop-Up Wine Hotel Le Grand Hôtel du Vin will reopen its doors on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 2026. Once again, the Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern will be transformed into a true paradise for wine lovers.
Each of the 15 hotel rooms will feature a different Swiss winemaker presenting their own wines. Guests will have the opportunity to discover the regional diversity of Swiss wine and embark on a journey through the country’s different wine-growing regions.
Two rooms, curated around specific themes, invite you to taste and reflect:
Le Salon Vert – by Demeter Schweiz:
Learn more about the world of Demeter wines and experience the culture of sustainable enjoyment for yourself. In cooperation with Demeter Switzerland, five Swiss Demeter winemakers will be present in Le Salon Vert. Several other Swiss winemakers who work sustainably, organically or biodynamically will also be present in the hotel rooms.
La Salle de Maison:
Producers from Lucerne will be representing the wine canton of Lucerne, creating a true sense of home.
New in 2026, one hotel room will be transformed into a Sensorium by WeinHaus — a space where seeing, smelling, and tasting become an experience. Max Chocolatier will provide delicious mini pairings in selected rooms, offering a delightful opportunity to discover new harmonies between wine and chocolate.
Le Grand Hôtel du Vin welcomes wine lovers of all ages, offering an accessible and engaging wine experience for young and old.
Your ticket to Le Grand Hôtel du Vin
With your entry, you’ll immerse yourself in a world full of flavour and encounters. The ticket price includes a practical leaflet with all winemakers and themed rooms, your first glass of Swiss wine, and a small goodie bag to take home.
Token System
On site, you can purchase additional wine tokens for CHF 6.00 each. These can be used in the exclusive hotel rooms and themed areas, either to taste four wines in a tasting portion with a host, or to enjoy a full decilitre of a selected wine. Quality over quantity!
