«Wine & Spice» - African spices meet finest wines
Since 2011, the Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern regularly engages high-class guest chefs. They bring in exciting know-how into our kitchen team and they provide a variety for our restaurant guests. This time you will be suprised with another kind of culinary highlight.
The Bührer family from the local village of Hergiswil writes their story all over the world. They own the beautiful wineries «Saxenburg» in South Africa and «Château Capion» in the south of France as well as a cattle farm in South America. Finest spices from Africa top the selection off.
Join us on a culinary expedition and experience the fascinating combination of «Wine & Spice». Our kitchen team will enchant you with a menu composed of different exotic spices from Africa, which are rarely used in our daily cuisine. This will be combined with finest wines from the wineries «Saxenburg» and «Château Capion».
The opening event of this somewhat different guest chef serie will take place on November 26, 2015,
19.00 pm. Afterwards you may still enjoy the «Wine & Spice» menu until January 31, 2016 at our restaurant Galerie.
